The river mouth of the Mendihuaca river is a beautiful natural pool in between the sea, surrounded by clean/white big sand areas, some few beautiful local huts and the jungle with the mountains as a incredible background landscape. Going up along the river you´ll find waterfalls and more natural pools with really really cold water!
The way to the waterfalls is full of nature and jungle, so the last chance to buy food is just before you start the climb.
In the river mouth of the Mendihuaca river, same spot where the surf lessons are given, you´ll find bars, shops, tents rental, kayaks rentals and a beautiful beach for sunbathing.
The principal entrance of the Tayrona Park, ‘el Zaino’, is 5 minutes away by bus from Mendihuaca Surf.

To the east it is the principal entrance of the Lost City, 15 minutes by bus from Mendihuaca.
